Oh god.
That's what I thought when I read Edward's interpretation of Rosalie's phone call.
It was just...so.......heartbreaking.
I'm glad that Stephenie Meyer didn't write the rest of it-- so that I would have to see him crumple in grief. I don't think I would be able to take it. But in a way, I also need to hear more of his story. I have to hear more of his story. But since his mind is just so much more complex than Bella's, it would be so much worse than Bella after he left her.
I just can't believe what I just read. To see him in such a vunerable, hermit-like, grieving state...Edward can't do that. He shouldn't be like that. Seeing Bella's smiling, inviting face underneath his eyelids...that was just....I need to improve my vocabulary, or invent a new word. Grief-crushingly heart-breaking?
Anyway, here's what if I read, if you have the sympathy and enough control over your emotions...
